Quadcopter aerial unit for combat support.作战支援四旋翼无人机。
The team’s aerial support unit — a 13 kg custom quadcopter that rains fire from above. I designed the airframe, the 2-axis gimbal payload mount, and the projectile-launch hardware that carries and precisely dispenses a magazine of ~1,600 × 17 mm pellets. The hard part is the trade-off: enough structure and payload to be a credible threat, yet light and balanced enough to change direction fast while fully loaded.
